These Terms govern your use of the VetMuse practice management platform provided to staff of the clinic that issued your account. By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Account creation & approval
- Any prospective staff member may request an account by completing the sign-up form.
- You must provide accurate personal information (name, phone, work email) and use a password that is unique to this platform.
- Your account is not active until a clinic Administrator has verified your identity, employment, and role, and manually approved the account.
- The clinic Administrator may deny, revoke, suspend, or delete any account at any time without prior notice, in line with clinic policy.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. Sharing accounts is prohibited.
2. Acceptable use
- You will use the platform only for legitimate clinical, administrative, and business activities of your clinic.
- You will not attempt to bypass access controls, access data belonging to other patients or owners without a clinical need, or export data for personal use.
- You will comply with all applicable veterinary practice, data protection, and professional-conduct laws.
3. Clinical data & confidentiality
All patient, owner, herd, laboratory, financial, and staff records stored on the platform are the confidential property of your clinic. You must not disclose them to third parties except where required for the patient's treatment or by law.
4. Roles & responsibilities
Access to individual modules is granted based on the role assigned by the Administrator (e.g. Veterinarian, Receptionist, Pharmacist, Laboratory Technician). You must operate only within the scope of your assigned role and professional competence.
5. Prescriptions, dosages & AI tools
The dosage calculator, AI Clinical Assistant, and any decision-support features are provided as reference tools. The prescribing veterinarian remains solely responsible for the correctness and appropriateness of any diagnosis, prescription, or treatment.
6. Account termination
On termination of employment, or at the clinic's discretion, your account and access will be revoked. Data created by you remains the property of the clinic.
7. Changes to these Terms
The clinic may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
